We're happy when you're happy

Here's what some of our guests have had to say about their stay with us:

This was a basic but perfectly good B & B. Designed with hikers or cyclists in mind, it has no frills, but is ideal if you you want a bed for the night and a hot filling breakfast, and good value too. It is on the edge of the Peak District in a lovely little village.

To Hull and Back
Used as a stopping point whilst cycling the Trains Pennine Trail. Very helpful and friendly service, spotlessly clean and tidy room, bike was safe and secure over night, good breakfast as well, would definitely use again. Thanks to Eric for recommending the Aman Indian restaurant near the station, cracking curry.

Top marks from this very fussy customer !! Clean, warm, quiet ..... what more could you want? If you are not a fan of B&B's then this is the place for you !! A newly refurbished flat without resident owners so you are left to your own devices - It is spotlessly clean, lovely and warm, very quiet and just what you need for a basic stop over during business.
Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and safe / secure. The bed was extremly comfy, the shower was hot and i would book to stay here again in a shot !

What a litle gem, the pictures on the web site do not do it justice, it is newly decorated, clean and warm with plentiful hot water, what made it for us though, it had a seperate bathroom and after biking over 50 miles seeing that bath was heaven. There are 3 rooms all ensuite.
Eric the propiretor was very helpfull.
Breakfast was in the cafe below the B/B, although not much choice, the full english set us up for the days biking.
We will definetly stay there again, anyone doing the Trans Pennine Trail , this B/B we would highly recommend.
